Our Red & White Themed Christmas Tree

It's Christmas time! ahhh, how wonderful the holidays are! As always, everybody is excited as the holidays are upon us and Christmas time is always the best time of the year. At least it is for me. Holiday cheers, colorful lights, gift-giving, smiling faces and cheerful greetings just puts us all in the holiday spirit.

And it's not Christmas without the Christmas tree. Of course Christmas is not all about just the tree and decorations. It's much more than that.Christmas trees represent eternal life found only in Jesus. Today, putting up a Christmas tree is a very common tradition among Christians who celebrate Christmas. However, it's history comes from many interesting connections to ancient traditions such as Roman customs and Victorian nostalgia. So no matter what your reason or belief for putting up a tree, the very essence of Christmas is the spirit of giving and love. However you decide to decorate your tree, it becomes a symbol and tradition in your family just as I am making it a tradition in mine.

This year, I decided a red and white themed Christmas tree. I already did a gold themed tree last year and this year, I thought I'd go for the more traditional colors. I wanted to give it a fun yet classy vibe with some pieces of ornaments that are a personal collection and passed on by family tradition.

I picked up my decors and ornaments here and there from several stores carefully selecting the pieces that will fit my Christmas theme for this year. I am pretty sure I will be enjoying decorating and getting ready for the holidays!

Merry red and white Christmas everyone!

XOXO,

Karen
