50 Things That Make Me Happy
The last year or two of my life have been somewhat tough and rough. I went through and still am going through the remnants of trying and difficult times but I am happy that I am gathering the strength and courage I need to be able to get through them. There were many 'firsts' that I've exprienced. Some of them I would rather not have experienced but I did.
Being in a 'rut' is definitely not as I'd describe it. More like "having a rug pulled out from uder your feet time and time again". Funny enough, those 'life-changing' momets have a tendency to happen at a point just as everything is falling into place- or so I thought.
Then boom!
Here's a shit sandwich for you, I hope you enjoy! love, the Universe.
I kind of gave up on so many things during that time. Some of them because I had no choice, others I just had no strength and motivation to go after. The problem is that when you do go through tough times and change, you're not really the same person you once were. You have the new, 'unpleasant' life changing experiences, yes. What you also have are the lessons that came along with them. I am just happy and grateful that somehow I am making it through everything with the help of family, prayers, strong will to survive and come out better. I told myself that I can't be sulking and letting all these things keep me from striving to be the best version of myself and achieving my dreams and goals in life.
With all these happening in my life, I have realized that there are still so many things I need to be grateful for. And that there are many things that make me happy and alive.
Here are 50 of random things that make me happy:
