How To Celebrate Halloween As An Adult

Halloween-It's not just for kids. Though we eventually outgrow our trick or treating days, it doesn't mean we have to put the holiday behind us and do nothing.

Back home in the Philippines, we never really celebrated Halloween as much as the Western world. It has only been lately when people back home started to celebrate Halloween and kids dress up in their favorite costumes and go around trick or treating.

Here in the US, people look forward to celebrating Halloween every year and it's one of the seasons when kids get excited to dress up go from house to house to do trick or treating for candies and chocolates. But why does it only have to be kids that have fun? Adults can also celebrate Halloween and in fact have fun too!

Here are some things to do on Halloween when it's no longer socially acceptable for you to go trick or treating:

Watch a Horror Movie - Hubby and I are planning to watch the new movie Halloween on Hallow's eve and just enjoy some popcorn and chips while watching

Carve Pumpkins- How can you celebrate Halloween without a pumpkin? Carve them using a stencil or just let your creative juices flow and make up your own design

Put yourself on a sugar high- Who says you can't eat all the candies you want? By all means please do!

Hand Out Candies- Pass along your Halloween tradition. There's no other joy than seeing the happy faces of little kids when they receive a handful of candies.

Pick Out A Costume- Just because you're an adult does not mean you can't pick out a costume and dress up. Me and my husband both decided to be a duo and dressed duo as Batman and Batgirl.
