You Know You're A Nurse When

You know you are a nurse when...

You can drink a pot of coffee then go home and go to bed

You get a call giving you thye name of your new admit and you have their care plan

done before they even hit tyhe floor

You believe the inventor of call bells have earned a special [lace in hell

You believe the number one rule in nursing is " don't say the Q word"

You rattle everytime you walk due to all

the equipmemt in your pockets

Your bladder can expand to a size of a mini van

You can almost see the germs growing on

countertops and knobs

You discard the first drop of ketchup or any sauce before you put some

on your food or plate

Your finger has gone places you never thought possible

You have a plethora of pens in your pocket and when you lose one, the whole unit is on lockdown!

You think that 'too stupid to live' should be a diagnosis

Mostly, you know you're a nurse when everyday you touch a life or a life will touch yours.
