Our Gold-Themed Christmas Tree and Christmas Decors

Every year I look forward to Christmas and putting up a Christmas tree and decorating the house with everything that has to do with the holiday seasons. It is always an exciting time of the year for me and I guess for everyone else too!

Last year was the first time me and my husband spent Christmas together and he got me a real Christmas tree. This year we decided to get our Christmas tree from the stores because last time, our dog kept trying to drink from the water that we put for the tree and she kept getting sick. So this year, we shopped for our tree and our ornaments at different local stores.

I am always blown away by the creativity that some people bring to life in their homes and their Christmas trees. This year I decided to be creative myself. My theme is silver and gold ornaments, silver and gold ribbons and gold poinsettias. I love anything gold and my theme of choice this year screams my love for it. I want everything to sparkle and I want everything to be bright. This is the first time I am doing a gold-themed Christmas tree and I am excited with how it turned out. And the main thing is me and my husband had fun putting up our tree.

We got our ornaments from different stores and carefully selected all the ornaments that we hung. I wanted everything to be memorable and have meaning for both me and my husband. I started with amazing gold and glittered glass bulbs, added in poinsettias in similar gold hues.

Then I added depth and texture with pinecones, golden stars and poinsettia and other golden glass ornaments. And to complete the rustic and and warm feel, we surrounded the tree with neutral colored wrapped gifts.
