Updated What's In My Bag 2019
These are legitimately some of my favorite posts. To read and put together. I'm the nosiest. I just love to know and observe what people carry around their purses. Personally I hate wearing transparent bags or purses but it's always a delight to see somebody step in the tube or train with one. Make up, receipts, water bottle...anything. It's just interesting.
I have been switching in and out bags and purses lately like crazy and typically that would drive me crazy because I m always concerned I will forget something. However, with so many switches I have developed my own system of organizing my things to avoid forgetting anything.
Here's what I've been carrying around lately...
First up, while I've been switching my bags often lately, this Michael Kors tote ( from The RealReal )has been a favorite. First, it's insanely pretty! And in my favorite color! Red. It's a great bag that holds a lot without looking ginormous and it does fit a ton.
When I carry a large tote like this, I like to put my things in small bags to keep everything organized. My make up bag hold all of my beauty essentials that I use on a daily basis like a couple of lipsticks, lip balms, a roll on perfume, hand sanitizers, face wipes and a hand cream. I also have with me a pack of gums and sometimes I carry a pack of peppermint Altoids to keep my breath smelling fresh all day.
I also keep a small bag for storing all of my gadget thingies like my portable charger, my earphones and phone chargers. I like to keep the cords organized and untangled so it's easy to pull them out whenever I need them so I find it useful to just put all of them in a small bag like this Victorias Secret make up bag.
I put all my pens and markers in this transparent case I got from TK Max a couple of years ago when I was living in London and I like it because it holds all of my pens and markers and a pair of scissors and all other stuff I use when I do my planning. Of course I also carry with me my personal Filofax planner everywhere I go.
I also love to keep a book in my purse because I love to read. Whatever book I am currently reading, I always carry it with me so I can read on my downtime. I also keep my mini ipad with me and my earphones for entertainment.
I guess what's in every woman's bags, caters to her needs and her daily lifestyle. It doesn't matter if you carry large totes or small bags on a daily basis but what makes you comfortable and what makes your life a bit easier everyday.
