My Winter Essentials: 2019 Edition

With forecasts of cold one digit temperatures and snowstorms in the horizon, it's time to break out of your denial and accept the harsh truth-winter is here people, and yes it's happening!

And if the winter temperatures are dropping like it's not hot, it's time to layer up! So here are some of my winter essentials that I think every woman should have in her wardrobe to survive the winter. Stocking your closet with these items will help you go from home to work and back while staying warm and cute- mostly warm.

A blazer that you can use to " winter-fy" those sleeveless tops and dresses

A turtle neck. Yes, a turtleneck!

A neutral-toned wool coat for when you want to look cute and stay warm

A trench coat. Because you just gotta have a trench coat.

A leather jacket to layer on top of your sweaters and look cute and warm at the same time

A beanie. Just because you need it.

Booties to walk over snow puddles and still look cute

A scarf that also doubles as a blanket

Leggings that you can mix with anything

Puffer jackets for when sh**** gets real

A sweater dress that isn't too itchy or clingy

A quilted down vest to layer over cute sweaters that you can wear all day like a mini puffer jacket

Sweaters on sweaters on sweaters

A Ruana scarf to stay warm and still look stylish

And winter snow boots because winter looks good in post cards but sucks in real life.
