5 Things You Should Do Every Sunday - For An Amazing Week

Sundays are wonderful for catching up with work that has been left untouched, unwinding and binge-watching Netflix. But above all, it can also be a great day for planning and making sure the next week will be your best week.

Sundays need not to be what they are most commonly known for; a lazy day for hangovers and meaningless binge-watching and eating. Here are some of the things I I do every Sunday and how, by doing so, I avoid the Monday blues and feeling overwhelmed or anxious about the week ahead.

Let's get started:

SHIFT YOUR MINDSET

Think of Sundays like the first day of the week. It really takes the edge and pressure off of Mondays. You can get a headstart on your work for the week by prepping on Sundays.

Prep, prep, and prep.

Prepping is the key.

MEAL PREP

Ahh, what a classic Sunday tip, eh? I do prepare lunches for me and the hubby and I do it on Sundays. This way, food stays fresh longer. You'll save so much time by getting all of your grocery shopping and meal prepping done on Sundays for the week ahead.

This is your chance to look up new and exiting recipes and make healthier choices and bulk that fridge with delish ready-to-go meals.

By prepping your meals in advance, you also save a ton of money, need I say more?

PLAN YOUR WEEK

Plan, plan, plan and plan some more. Sundays are great for catching up with your favorite planner and getting your to-do's in order.

If you know me, you'll know that I am a planner addict and I love to plan. I like to write down lists and things to do and I put my thoughts into writing. So planning is a good way for me to stay on top of things.

It's always nice to get your most important tasks down on paper using a good old fashioned pen and paper.

Plan your week down to the hour if you can. this way you can keep track of what has been done and what still needs to be done. This will really improve your productivity and make you feel more organized and structured.

Don't stop there. Jot down your social activities for the week, your work out times- whatever you plan on doing in the coming week.

PRIORITIZE YOUR TO-DO LIST

Don't you ever feel like your to-do list is holy and sometimes it can feel endless? Because I do, sometimes.

So, make sure you prioritize it in order of urgency and importance. Tick off the most crucial task before you move on to the next. Constantly checking off things as you do them can be very gratifying.

CLEAN YOUR SPACE

You don't ever want to start off your week with a messy home, desk, apartment and safe space. Spend 30 minutes every Sunday decluttering, vacuuming those dust bunnies and washing those dishes.

You're bound to be happier and feel more productive if your environment and space is clutter-free.

You don't need to go all Marie Kondo and clean and organize everything and every single corner of your home, but a little goes a long way.

Start the week off clean, literally speaking.

Happy Sunday everyone, and have a great week!

XOXO,

Karen
