The Ultimate Drugstore Makeup Guide

Over the past year, I have been looking for ways to be more fiscally conservative. Thankfully, we've all curbed our spending habits in countless aspects of our lives. We're not travelling, we're cooking most of our meals, and I'm not shopping as much.( ehem! ehem! ) One easy way to save money is to incorporate drugstore makeup into my daily makeup habits and routine.

Even though, I've been safely social distancing this pandemic, I still enjoy putting on makeup every morning. Foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick just makes me feel a lot better. Makeup to me is a simple spring board to help me get ready and feel great for the day.

Also, I have sensitive combination dry and oily skin and I have suffered from adult acne and scarring before. Therefore, new products make me wary since my skin tends to freak out whenever I use a diffrent product from the norm.

Don't get me wrong! I LOVE prestige makeup. However, since the pandemic I have tried to be more cost conscience. Generally, I wanted to find best in class items that would complete or beat their luxury counterpart.

Without further ado, here are my current drugstore makeup must-haves!

Elf Poreless Putty Primer

Loreal Paris Infallible 24 hour Fresh wear Foundation

Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara

Milani Baked Highlighter

Elf Blush Palette

Maybelline Lift Gloss

These products I swear by and I use everyday and every time I go out and want to feel and look cute. I carry these in my everyday make up bag and will surely repurchase them when I run out.

Overall these products are not bad especially if you are just starting out and don't want to spend too much money on make up.

XOXO,

Karen
